How Much Does Leaf Removal Cost in Sheboygan County? (2026 Prices)
Share
Leaf removal in Sheboygan County costs $245 for most city lots with Sunny Stripes, $420 for a large lot up to about 12,000 sq ft, $675 up to half an acre, $1,150 for half an acre to an acre, and $2,390 for one to three acres, with hauling included. Those are published prices, so you can see the number and book online before anyone comes out.
Most landscapers in the area quote leaf removal by phone or after a visit. Below is how our pricing works, what changes the price on a given yard, and how hiring it out compares with doing it yourself.
What Does Leaf Removal Cost in Sheboygan?
| Lot size | Turf area | Sunny Stripes leaf removal |
|---|---|---|
| Small to medium | Up to ~7,000 sq ft | $245 |
| Large | ~7,000–12,000 sq ft | $420 |
| Extra large | 12,000 sq ft – ½ acre | $675 |
| Small acreage | ½ – 1 acre | $1,150 |
| Acreage | 1 – 3 acres | $2,390 |
| Over 3 acres | — | Quoted after a site walk |
Every price covers one full visit: leaves off the lawn and out of the beds, a final short mow, perennials cut back, and every load hauled away. Pick your size on the booking page, or use the instant quote to measure your lawn from satellite if you aren't sure which band you're in.

Why Is the Smallest Lot the Same Price as a Medium One?
Below a certain size, the trip is most of the cost. Loading the trailer, driving out, setting up and hauling the leaves to disposal take about the same time on a 2,500 sq ft lawn as on a 6,000 sq ft one. So $245 is our minimum for a cleanup visit, and the price only starts climbing once the yard itself becomes the bigger part of the job.
What Makes One Yard Cost More Than Another?
Lot size sets the price band. Within a band, these are the things that make a yard more work:
- Tree cover. Two mature silver maples or a big oak can drop more leaves than a much larger open lot.
- Fenced backyards and tight gates. Leaves have to come out by hand or tarp instead of straight onto the trailer.
- Beds and ground cover. Pulling leaves out of shrubs, hostas and rock beds takes longer than blowing open turf.
- Wet, matted leaves. Leaves that have sat through a few rains weigh more and don't blow.
- Timing. Oaks and late maples keep dropping into late November, so some yards need a second pass.
We price in generous bands on purpose. If your lawn lands a little over the line, the price you paid is the price.
Is It Cheaper to Do Leaf Removal Yourself?
In cash, yes. Sheboygan, Sheboygan Falls, Plymouth and Kohler all run curbside leaf collection in the fall, and a rake costs less than a visit. The real cost is time and timing:
| Do it yourself | Hire it out | |
|---|---|---|
| Cash cost | Rake, bags or tarp; possibly a blower | From $245, haul-away included |
| Time | A weekend or two on an average city lot | None |
| Schedule | Raked out before your city pickup day | A date that works for you |
| What goes | Leaves only at the curb in most towns | Leaves, cuttings and small branches |
| Beds and cutback | Extra work, plus a trip to the drop-off | Included |
If you'd rather do it yourself, our guides to Sheboygan leaf pickup, Plymouth leaf pickup and Sheboygan Falls leaf pickup cover each city's 2026 rules. And if the leaf layer is thin, you may not need to remove it at all: see should you mulch leaves or rake them up.
Is Leaf Removal Worth Paying For?
It's worth it when the leaves are thick enough to mat down. Leaves left on the lawn over a Wisconsin winter block light, hold moisture against the grass and set up snow mold, and the bill for that shows up in spring as thin, dead patches that need overseeding. Getting them off before the first lasting snow is cheaper than repairing the lawn after.
How Much Does Commercial Leaf Removal Cost?
Commercial properties are quoted per site, because parking lots, islands, drains and the number of passes vary so much. Our residential prices are a floor for scale. See fall cleanup for commercial properties for what a commercial program covers.
