Mulch & Decorative Rock Installation
Mulch & Decorative Rock Installation
Nothing refreshes a property faster than new mulch or rock. We do the whole job — prep the beds, cut clean edges, install the material at the right depth, and haul away the mess — so your beds look sharp for the whole season, not just the first week.
More Than a Wheelbarrow and a Pile
-
Bed Prep & Edging
We weed the beds, re-cut the edges, and put down pre-emergent where it makes sense — because mulch over weeds is just expensive weed blanket.
-
Mulch Installation
Hardwood, dyed, or natural mulch installed at the proper depth: enough to hold moisture and block weeds, not so much that it smothers your plants or rots your siding.
-
Decorative Rock
Stone beds that stay put and stay clean, with proper fabric underneath. A one-time investment that skips the annual mulch refresh — we'll tell you which spots on your property suit rock and which are better mulched.
How Much Material Do You Need?
Nobody should pay for two extra yards of mulch or come up one short on a Saturday. We measure your beds and bring exactly what the job takes. Prefer to spread it yourself? Ask about material delivery.
FAQ Section
When's the best time to mulch in Wisconsin?
Late spring, after the soil warms — usually May in Sheboygan County. Fall installs work too and protect roots over winter.
Mulch or rock — which is better?
Mulch feeds the soil and is cheaper up front but needs refreshing every year or two. Rock costs more once and lasts for years. Most properties look best with a mix.
Do you remove the old mulch first?
When it's built up too deep, yes — piling new over old is how beds end up burying plant crowns. We'll tell you what your beds need when we measure.
