We're based in Sheboygan and run weekly routes through Kohler, Sheboygan Falls, Plymouth and the Town of Wilson, north to Howards Grove and south through Oostburg, Cedar Grove and Random Lake. Every town below is a normal stop, not a special trip — there's no travel fee for any Sheboygan County address, and the price you're quoted is the price.

How the county changes the job

Same menu everywhere. Different lawn every few miles.

Timing matters as much as the work, and Sheboygan County doesn't grow grass on one schedule.

01

The lake drags spring and stretches fall

Within a few miles of Lake Michigan — Sheboygan, Kohler, the Town of Wilson, Oostburg — lawns green up later and grow longer into November. Inland towns like Plymouth, Howards Grove and Random Lake sit in zone 5b, warm up sooner and get the colder winters. We schedule the first cut, pre-emergent and the last cleanup off the ground, not the calendar.

02

Clay inland, sand near the shore

Heavy clay compacts and sheds water; core aeration is the highest-return thing most of those lawns get all year. Sandy lakeshore ground drains in minutes and dries out in July; those lawns want a taller cut, smaller waterings and topdressing to give them something to hold water in.

03

Tree lines and river corridors mean leaf load

Plymouth's wooded edges, the Sheboygan River through the Falls, the tree-lined streets of Kohler: fall cleanup runs in passes there so leaves never sit long enough to smother the turf and invite snow mold.

04

About 44 inches of snow, some of it lake-effect

We roll at 2 inches everywhere in the county, per visit or seasonal. Routes fill before the first storm, so winter gets booked in the fall — especially on the long driveways out toward Plymouth.

05

Routed together so small towns get big-town consistency

A single stop an hour from base doesn't pencil out, which is why small villages get skipped by crews from elsewhere. We run the south county as one route and the north county as another, so Cedar Grove gets the same fixed day and the same standard as Kohler.

Questions

Does anyone service my town?

The questions people ask before they call.

Ask something else
Do you charge travel fees within Sheboygan County?

No. Every town on this page is part of our normal service area, and our routes keep crews nearby. The price you're quoted is the price, with no travel surcharge for any Sheboygan County address.

Do you service towns outside Sheboygan County?

Sometimes. If your property sits just outside the county line, reach out — when it fits an existing route we can usually take it on. Multi-site commercial contracts get the most flexibility.

Do you work with both homes and businesses?

Yes. Homeowners hire us for weekly mowing, garden beds, mulch and seasonal cleanups; businesses, HOAs and property managers hire us for grounds maintenance programs and snow and ice. Same crew, same standard — see Commercial Properties and HOAs & Communities.

How fast can you quote my property?

Mowing, fertilizing, aeration, topdressing, cleanups and snow price online in about a minute from your address. Design projects and commercial programs take a little longer because we walk the site and price the work line by line.

How do I get on the schedule?

Price it online or call, we look at the property, you get a clear per-visit or itemized quote, and you land on your town's route day. One honest note: spring fills fastest. If you want a spot on the weekly mowing schedule or a mulch install before Memorial Day, reach out in late winter.

Is there a local guide for my town?

Most towns have one on our blog — the Sheboygan County Service Areas guides cover soil, timing and typical pricing town by town.
