The Granny Smith apple tree is famous for producing the iconic crisp, tart, and juicy green apples loved worldwide. First cultivated in Australia in the mid-1800s by Maria Ann “Granny” Smith, this green apple tree has become a favorite for fresh eating, baking, cider, and long-term storage.

Our Semi Dwarf Granny Smith Apple Tree on M111 rootstock grows to about 12–15 feet tall, making it ideal for home orchards and small gardens. It thrives in full sun with well-draining soil, is partially self-pollinating, and will produce fruit more abundantly when planted near other varieties like Fuji, Honeycrisp, or even Red Delicious.
